This Upon the Matter Retreat, with two psychedelic journeys, is all about getting to know different aspects of yourself, unwinding and letting go. As a result, you will get to know yourself better and gain new insights to grow personally.
Upon the matter means ‘considering the whole’. During this 3 day retreat, with 2 psilocybin journeys, you will have the opportunity to know and explore different facets of yourself more deeply. Like getting new perspectives about who you are and more importantly, who you want to be.
The first journey is with a medium dosage so you can make a nice start by gently probing the themes at play. This journey makes it easier to prepare yourself for the second psilocybin journey, with a high dosage. Both journeys will take place in our ceremonial yurt with beautiful music, sound healing and scents.
Experience has taught us that two journeys in a row is the most beautiful combination of mental traveling. Because this retreat is one day longer than usual, there is more time for rest, wellness and guidance. Delightful in our beautiful natural surroundings among the fruit trees with delicious and healthy food.
Prior to this retreat we have an online intake interview and after the retreat an online group integration session.
The program starts on Friday around 9am and ends Sunday around noon. Everything during this retreat is aimed at getting you to completely unwind and gain new insights.

They have designed this program to give you the peace and space to learn and get to know yourself better, surrounded by nature with comfort and use of wellness.
In the Netherlands, it is legal to purchase and consume psilocybin in the form of ‘magic truffles’. Truffles are a different part of the mushroom, known as sclerotia, which remain dormant and help the mushroom regrow after damage. Magic mushrooms, in contrast, are illegal.
Psilocybin is completely safe when used responsibly in a safe environment with people you know and trust. It is a naturally occurring substance that is converted by the body into psilocin, which acts on the serotonin receptors in the brain. Psilocybin is not addictive and there are no known reports of overdoses.
Psilocybin is not an addictive substance. You may enjoy and get a lot out of the experience, but you’re not likely to become physically dependent on psilocybin.
The age limit of 25 years is installed because the brain is still growing and developing up to that age. Important contra-indications as some disorders are found almost always before the age of 25 (but not always before 20). We must take this contra-indication very seriously because of the immense consequences when things go wrong. And as a young adolescent you rather not come in contact with a very high dose of psilocybin, like participants use in our Retreats.
